We need to raise £120,000 to restore our pipe organ. This is a specialist task requiring skilled and experienced workmanship. We need to restore the organ as soon as possible to avoid continuing costly repairs.
By their very nature, pipe organs require major refurbishment every 25-30 years; leathers perish, pipework deteriorates and parts wear out. This is a costly exercise but one which we believe is vital in order to preserve both this fine instrument and our musical tradition.
